The new Batman: No Man’s Land is taking me an awfully long time to read. It’s not that it isn’t interesting. It has a really nice plot and story line, but it’s very slow and I just don’t have the need to want to keep reading it. Also it might just be because I haven’t read a more classic comic in awhile, but the writing is very bland, straight forward and I don’t know if I like the flow of it all together. I’m just not getting a lot of emotion or attachment to any of the characters.

And for something more traditional like this I do like the changes in the art styles throughout the book. It switches around a bit and other people seem to hate it, but I like the change. My eyes get tired of looking at the same straight line design for so long. I love the dark gritty style they put in there the most. It can become a bit clustered, but I think that’s the point. It went great with the scene. I just thought that was neat was all
